Maureen specializes in treating trauma, addiction, PTSD, and other mental health concerns with accelerated resolution therapy (ART) and brainspotting. These therapies are also highly effective to treat all types of performance anxiety and get you to the best life you wish to create!

Maureen holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Kansas. She has treated clients and patients in inpatient, intensive outpatient, and residential care settings. She is also trained and certified by the Attorney General of Kansas as a domestic violence assessor.

Maureen tailors therapy to the unique needs of each individual client with compassion, directness and often humor.

Maureen is originally from Lawrence, Kansas, and has lived in the Kansas City metro area since 1992. Before Maureen was a therapist, she was an editorial director and writer of greeting cards. She is also passionate about beach volleyball and plays it every chance she gets.
